Profile: Christal Williams

       Christal Williams has trained since the age of three. Originally from the St. Louis area, she trained with Carol Lynn's School of Dance until the age of 12. She then continued dancing through various outlets, including middle school pom, high school drill team, and college cheer and dance team. Christal began training again in tap, jazz and hip hop at Jocinda's/Forever Jody's School of Dance in 2001. She has always dreamed of one day managing/owning a dance studio.

Christal holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (Accounting), Master of Business Administration (General Management), and will complete her Master in Organizational Development this fall 2010. She has earned all her degrees from Avila University. Currently, she is the Executive Director of Financial Aid Compliance at the Kansas City Art Institute. Her dual position at the Academy of Performing Arts is Dance Studio Manager and instructor.

Christal and her husband, Rick, have two children: Monae and Rick, Jr.
