No ‘Business As Usual’ With China After Virus, U.K. Says

Published

on

Apr.17 — U.K. Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, who is standing in for Boris Johnson as the prime minister recovers from Covid-19, said it could no longer be “business as usual” with China when the coronavirus pandemic is over, the latest sign of hardening attitudes toward Beijing as the crisis drags on. “There absolutely needs to be a very, very deep dive after the event and review of the lessons, including of the outbreak of the virus,” Raab said at a press conference in London on Thursday.

Do not do onto others as you do not wish others to do onto them. Confucius, if your going to hear it you may as well hear it from the horses mouth. The Chinese should follow their own philosophy.

You can do this if you have a back bone and truthfully care. Its too easy to do the comments on here but what about doing more?

Write your letter to Chinese companies about your thoughts on their government. Tell them how the world is sore and that a no buy from China is coming. Meaning a recession for the Chinese people and all because of their stupid government. Then go to
to Alibaba.com Once there do the quick free registration. Then select items and click send enquiry. Now you are directly connected to Chinese companies. Send your letter. Click on the next item and choose send equity. Send another copy of your letter. if thousands upon thousands of people sent letters. Do you know this would get past the communist governments firewall. If word spreads in China of their government being bad, if enough bad thoughts are brought out into the open and enough people discuss it, there will be a huge change out there.

He said more towards saying nothing than to say anything negative against China. Ok then that one thing happened. He'd said it wont be business as usual. That is by no way anything to go by. Newspapers think its a headline though which is how I am here now.

See Virus China think they have us all by the short n curlies. They that think because they make the micro electronics that goes into everything, they are the ALL and MIGHTY. Damn even our own UK firms are buying their switches and components from China and slamming them into UK built machines and selling them labelled made in the UK. And when in truth the label used and stuck to the front of the machine should read, "Chinese parts, only assembled in the UK."

Where the finger points though is directly at our money grabbing filthy government. A government that was ill prepared for the virus and made crazy decisions throughout the lockdown. Like bringing people back here whom had openly left our country only in doing so at the cost of 75 million. Likely infected people. and once here slamming them on to coaches with drivers who were not even wearing face masks. Only, and then to order within a day of it that public health give the coach company an all clear letter. Saying the coaches are not infected with the virus.

Our government is at fault because they allowed the trade with China in the first place. For every item that arrived in UK they got an import tax. Our government have absolutely no morals. If you are non uk citizen you have more rights here than if you are a native UK citizen and thats a fact. Polish were allowed in and they stole UK national jobs. Ok so everything they bought the tax on those items went to the government. Dumb government. Because of the influx of people so the sale prices of stuff dropped too. So UK nationals tax to pay on less sales drastically declined.

No UK government are a bunch of complete Wan*ers.

Didn't China/ccp buy medical supply from the ppe in Brazil long before the world got a warning from China, hording all that leaving the rest of the world and first medical staff go into this virus with no protection that is needed, that's weird why wouldn't China be able to produce masks at least on it own.

Why have you bought testing kits from the CCP? Are you seriously that stupid? Why should we buy anything from China?
    Cut them 100% adrift. NOW!

Agreed. There should be no BAU with anyone after this. Each country must focus on fixing their health system so that they can be in a better position to face the next pandemic with minimal death toll. Fix your backyard first before sticking your noise to your neighbor.

UK and US should learn from how China fight against the virus in January already when they lock down Wuhan. We live in an international world now that there is a lot of British people also live in China and travel and forth. Instead British government did nothing until late April, no temperature check up in the airport, no recommendation for wearing masks, no social distancing, they still don't check everyone in the hospital and recommend herd immunity…. You should learn from your own lesson and fault instead of blaming other people.

Well, I see so many hate comments against China, CCP or Chinese whatever while I am eating yoghurt😅 Hmmm..just a proposal, you have so much time to blame others, wouldn’t it be much better to concentrate and mitigate your own country’s situation, put your people’s life first and then come to blame us? You just cannot wait to shift people’s hate or emotions all to China, right? And tbh, if China needs to pay for the lost that the virus caused to the attacked countries then China also needs to pay China for compensation right? Hmm..now that China pays China already, I guess we wouldn’t have that much money to pay another China outside of China right? 🤦🏻‍♀️

yadda yadda yada YAWN yadda yadda yadda YAWN…nothing will change unless the West totally cuts off all ties with China…no more exports/imports, stop selling your countries out to China, stop Chinese students aka SPIES from entering your universities en masse as they do in the USA and UK….and then we'll see change. Until then, it's just a lot of blowing hot air.

I wish China would stop all business with the USA. In two weeks the people of America would know how broken America really is. Society here would break down overnight if we couldn't buy two out of every three things we need from China. Let's open up the USA! If 70% of Americans get Covid-19, at 330,000,000 that's 231,000,000. Of those, 20% will be seriously ill. That's 46.2 million. And between 3.4 and 4.5% will die. At 3.4% of 231,000,000 that's 7.85 million deaths. This is what our King wants. And no testing! Get used to it. King trumpy.

EEEW! Comment Number 201! What have I heard about the number 201?
Oh yea, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, registered in the London Business Registry, and their sponsoring of EVENT 201!
What's it about? A PANDEMIC Simulation, held in October 2019, two months before the Corona Virus Pandemic.
Event 201's virus was the CAPS Virus, or was it. During the simulation event a female participant forgot to call the virus CAPS, and CALLED IT THE CORONA VIRUS!
Did she know something, and by Freudian Slip state the planned virus instead of the simulated virus?
You decide. See Event 201 right here on utube!

Both the UK and the US government should start to realize the severity of COVID 19 on the January 23rd when Wuhan started its lockdown! Now they just try to shift the blame to China and cover up their own ineptitude. What a shame!
