European Union Set to Ask Passengers From China to Take Covid Tests

Published

on

The European Union is now moving towards requirements for masks and pre-flight testing on flights coming out of China amid the rampant Covid outbreak in the Asian nation. Meanwhile, the rising number of Covid deaths across China is overwhelming crematoriums, making it hard for anyone to find an open slot. John Liu reports on Bloomberg Television.

China population is 4 times the population of the United States. The United States has so for 1.1 million COVID deaths. This means that China COVID deaths would be at least 4.5 million.
If you factor in the lack of an effective vaccine, the insufficient number of hospital beds and the insufficient number of ICU, the number of China COVID deaths would be much higher than 4.5 million.

The China COVID virus wave stated in first-tier cities. Then it will spread to the second tier, third-tier cities and finally the rural towns and villages. As you go from first-tier cities to rural towns and villages, the quantities and qualities of medical services are decreasing sharply.
The rural towns and villages will be hit by the COVID wave in February and March. February and March are the planting season. The rural towns and villages have minimal medical facilities. How many farmers will be healthy enough to plant the 2023 crops?

After the last time, why is China even letting flights leave the country. The whole world went into lockdown because this virus was allowed to spread via international travel.
