Indiana Pacers forward Chris Copeland and his companion were reportedly stabbed while leaving a New York City nightclub. Two Atlanta Hawks players were arrested in the area.
It crazy how they made Thabo look bad in all the media coverage because he was “resisting arrest”, but he was offered him a plea deal were they’d dismiss all 3 of the charges he was facing after 6 months and his lawyer wanted him to take it, but Thabo said no and went to trial. He was found not guilty of all 3 charges and instead filled a lawsuit against the NYPD for 50 million for damages and he ended up being awarded 4 million and he donated most of it to a non-profit helping public defenders.
obstructing governmental administration…..odd sounding. Post Patriot Act odd sounding. Is this a Federal charge being applied against them by Federal City Cops?
