However you see this US economy, heading up or down, one thing seems clear: it’s rolling.
Charles Schwab’s Liz Ann Sonders sees a “rolling recession.” Binky Chadha of Deutsche Bank sees a “rolling recovery.” Our heads on Surveillance are spinning with all the rolling, which actually helps explain all the whipsawing narratives and confusing economic data of 2023.

Hey Libby, why did Pimco pull the plug on their California Muni bond fund, putting the investors underwater?

It's about good systems, and if they make us play politics then fine , we will do that too.

The reason why both parties haven’t reached out to moderates is because it’s the fanatics who make history whether you or I agree with that logic is irrelevant

If you are for cancel culture, then you are a fascist. If you shout the other side down so they cannot speak, you are for fascism.

Soccer is an English term, they call it football because the ball is nearly an imperial foot long, they do look like they work at footlocker, and if they don't wear cardboard for shinguards perhaps they could invest in something more sophisticated than a shirt to work in?

Airline spending, (along with any remaining non-government inflationary pressure) are all of the Boomers blowing their Money Market funds after they retired during Covid. Take a look at the demographics under 55 and its a completely different ballgame with record debts, low savings, and loan delinquencies. Now come the December Q4 job cuts, and stock buybacks. Not a lot of real growth on the horizon for the services sector coming up in my opinion, which is a big deal considering over 60% of the US economy is service-based.
