CNN: Memphis ‘Quite a spectacular sight’

A tornado was spotted Wednesday evening near midtown Memphis, Tennessee, according to the National Weather Service.

    That tornado 🌪 did touch down. It didn’t downtown but I did once it got to east Memphis and ripped our Hickory Ridge Mall into pieces 😢 I remember this like yesterday.

    Not a wall cloud. That's an inflow jet colloquially called a beaver's tail.

    i was 9 when this happened, i was scared crapless. those shills at CNN don't know junk about memphis weather :/ unless you're a flaming liberal, stick to WREG for severe weather alerts.

    I live there in Memphis and I remember this one time years ago at school there was a tornado siren everyday for a week

    Wow, this anchor is clearly uneducated about the southern portion of the country. "Have tornados gone through Memphis in the past?" Yeah. Lots. That's how come the sirens are installed all over the county and every county in the south for that matter. Oh, and only an idiot living in the south would be watching CNN during a tornado warning in their area, especially after listening to this interview. The local stations "got this."
