One of my best friends is a pilot and is also licensed to fly helicopters for commercial flights. He told me when it comes to flying passengers to events etc. the first and ONLY thing on his mind is the safety of his passengers. He said if there is any question as to a decrease in visibility on the flight path he won't risk it no matter how much the passengers may want to get to their destination. He said that BOTH human judgment and mechanical instruments must ensure no possibility of visual disorientation. Unfortunately, the pilot in this flight (Ara Zobayan) although very experienced decided that mechanical instrumentation would be sufficient. He made the wrong decision as visibility in fact got worse as the morning unfolded.
What broke my heart is,what in God's name do you tell your daughter knowing that the helicopter is going down??? "We're going to be safe??" I was crying in a diner when I heard the news It was tragic
I like how the officer didn't give out names to pay their respects and called out TMZ for doing so especially when they called Steve O to confirm Ryan Dunn's death back in 2011
My mother was the one who called & told me that Kobe Bryant had died. That's when I knew it was true. She said that she was watching the pro bowl & it wasn't even halftime when the news came on
Hard to believe is almost 3 years since he been gone it feels like it was yesterday…..one thing am dumb founded is how the NBA knew gigi was in that helicopter b4 even the news outlets knew there were 9 people on board and not 5 as originally reported. I believe that was the 1st report of gigi being in the accident.shortly after that the rest of the outlets were reporting the same thing.
Kobe and his daughter love great life the other people did too god bless all of us on some way and sometimes he said your time is up what every happends in joy the person as long as you can
The media are such scum bags. Apologise for incorrectly saying 4 of his kids were on board then follow it up with ‘apparently his daughter was on board’.
I know it ended up being true, but they didn’t know that at the time and shouldn’t have been speculating after already getting important information wrong
