much needed context: this is being skewed heavily by the isreal lobby. The lady from Penn is doing her job correctly. the congresswoman (AIPAC mouthpiece) is saying "calling for genocide" thats not what happened. Saying " jews should be genocided" IS against the rules at Penn. However saying "from the river to the sea, palestine will be free" IS NOT calling for a genocide, no matter how much AIPAC wants it to be. It IS genocidal when said by Hamas, a small minority of palestine that is trying to take the saying for themselves. It is a call for liberation from Isreals illegal occupation of palestine when said by literally everyone else. This is very similar to how the Nazis stole the swastika from the Jains and Tibet. We cannot let them take the symbol like we let the nazis. Part of that is not playing into Isreals propaganda. This congresswoman gets paid heavilllllly by AIPAC. The president of Penn is absolutely right because the congresswoman isnt saying "is calling for genocide bad." shes saying "is using any slogan that is use to speak against isreal allowed?" the terrorist Hamas uses it in bloodlust but the oppressed Palestinians use it in hope and solidarity. The fact she could just answer the question Yes, proves she does not have the brain power or unbiased thought process to be in that job. The leader of a university should easily be able to tell right from wrong, which she can't do. She needs to be removed and sued, along with the university, by all students. who have been willfully discriminated against and threatened by her ignorance.
