    Children are a privilege not a right. If you can't afford them then don't have them. There should be a parent tax to cover the cost of teachers & schools.

    Freeze frame at 8:35 and the guest looks like a smug GenZ-er who’s just thrown a passive aggressive zinger at the GenX host and the host is winding up a face punch. Note to Stephanie: roll your fingers tighter and lock your thumb around the front of them 😉

    You know what's funny, as an avid collector of Asian ball-jointed dolls, it is actually hard to find a face sculpt that looks Asian. There are a lot that look anime-style, but that often isn't an Asian face at all. Souldoll has a few good ones, and I turned their Kanguk into my half-Chinese, half-Japanese assassin character named Ashe. It was really hard to find the right doll for him, which is kind of sad in a hobby that literally has the word Asian in front of it. ^^;;

    Child care should cost a lot of money; the government is putting their thumb on the scale and forcing all couples to work in two jobs; and often for less than one full salary!!!!! I understand that a very few people are single parents, and they need vouchers or something from the government in order to have access to child care, but for a couple they should be incentivized to have one spouse stay home and take care of the kids! It's not forever, less than a decade from the time when the first kid is born to the time the last kid is about four years old. And yes, we desperately need the school day to be extended until 5:00pm and have a playtime/recess from 5:00 to 6:00ish so that parents have time to drive and get them, or get home before the bus brings them home(buses should leave the school at like 5:10 to give parents a head start). And yes, also, businesses should be more flexible with their hours, why not have an employee work 6 hours a day, 30 a week, if they're willing to take the pay cut in order to have more family time then why not; after all a single salary from ONE person should be able to support an entire family, a house, two cars, savings and educational funds as well as vacations! The second salary SHOULD be extra for luxuries or a bigger house, more expensive vehicles, jewelry, etc.

    Nobody wants to look after your kid, not with all the issues you have to deal with, demands and instructions from all the parents, accusations and attacks by parents, and low pay for actual workers.

    My niece has 2 kids and had to star working nights so she and her husband can take turns watching the kids because the cost of childcare was more than her income working full time.

    How much do businesses spend on recruitment, training, retention, etc.?
    How much would those expenses be reduced if employers offered child care to their employees?

    WHY is it that these Childcare Places cannot run their businesses at a reasonable rate?
    Most other first world countries CAN do these things without their governments having to support them.
    My own mother created and ran a childcare business, and made a decent living, with employees that also made a decent living, without draining the wallets of the parents who's children were enrolled.
    Investigation is required into this yet again another important area of people's lives that somehow is uniquely not possible in America.
    Maybe the US Government should take note of the ways that these things are done in other countries that are successful.

    Far too many things of importance in America are somehow "impossible", yet are simple and affordable in other nations around the world.

    I left my job as a medical laboratory technician over twenty years ago for lack of child care and also needing to care for an aging parent. I ended up creating a job shearing sheep, kid friendly but not particularly lucrative. I returned to the lab in my 50's at square 1 to save for retirement. I will be working until my health says no more.

    Just like stop lights are followed to keep things safe and flowing smoothly; Child care is a place were the government can and must step in and take the Brunt of the cost! OTHERWISE THINGS START TO FALL APART
