Rodney King riots in Los Angeles | Live KABC reports from 25 years ago

I remember this like it was yesterday.
I was about 7 years old I was playing outside with my cousin and we started hearing helicopters and lot's of chaos.
I remember seeing the city buses going through streets they normally wouldn't go through, which to me right away
was a sign of something not being right I remember hearing lot's of sirens, and lot's of yelling and it was confusing because at age of 7 I didn't know who Rodney King even was I remember seeing lot's of people running around like if it was a war with guns and just things burning left and right like something out of a movie where people are fighting for their life and don't know what's going on.

There was a version of this video about these events, where it was clear as day that a lot of the people they spoke to or interacted with during the rioting, the group of people that they seem to be searching for and when they encounter them, they they repeat no Justice no peace there is a version of this video where they broke character, and They more or less give up the scam that what they’re doing is all manufactured I originally showed that version to my stepfather so at least he saw it but as of right now I’m still on the look for it if anybody else knows what I’m talking about maybe you can post a link under my comment But it was clear as day that they broke character and realized that they cut from their feed and you could see the disappointment on their face that they weren’t gonna be part of the story and they all respond to Linda that they cut the feed but just a second ago they were some random rioters flipping off the camera, screaming no justice no peace and then when they cut the footage, they all stop chanting and they all look confuse and disappointed that their scene is now over.

I remember this like yesterday. And all these years later as an elderly man I can still get emotional. And I’m living in Denmark so far away! But being brown I still think there’s a problem. White peoples don’t think so, but are they the ones who knows. By no means no. This is why I’m struggling to have faith in humanity

History just literally repeating itself. The games being played is truly disgusting. I know my ancestors that were alive during the Rodney King Era thought they were making a change only for my generation to experience George Floyd. They may tolerate us and hide the hate very well but make no mistake about it. We will never be equal. We can protest, We can March, we can do it all. Nothing will change. Coming across this video was very enlightening.

The people who saved the life of Reginald Denny were a couple of Black people who might have just been rioting a few minutes before, and probably thought, "this is ridiculous"… This is not Lost on me… Thanks for those people using their heads ❤️ .
