Two whole floors were made available to house the exhibits–one for MJ and one for LV. To celebrate the display, the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, located in a wing of the Louvre, threw a bash to celebrate Marc Jacobs at Louis Vuitton. Friends and fans of Marc Jacobs were at the lavish affair, including Kristen Stewart, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Gwyneth Paltrow. “Louis Vuitton means to me like the classic, luxury suitcases. I mean, they make beautiful things but I think for me, the suitcases and bags are the most indelible, emblematic symbol of Louis Vuitton,” Paltrow says.

While SJP and others may have been clamoring for a spot on the Best Dressed list, Marc Jacobs outdid them all by showing up in a Comme des Garcons pink polo dress and Pilgrim shoes from his Fall 2012 collection. “Marc came and added so much to Louis Vuitton,” says supermodel Natalia Vodianova, who was also at the event. Other fashionable names included Karl Lagerfeld, Catherine Deneuve, and FashionTV’s own Hofit Golan.
