Israel said the Hamas battle plan was “aspirational”. It sure was not and Israel winded up being the ass. And Israel wasn’t too “rational” either. I am just angry that Israel had a chance to prevent this and assumed it was too hard to pull off. I just wonder if Biden is sitting on a similar battle plan by terrorists to attack the United States and the Pentagon thinks it is “aspirational” too…

Playing around with words is a strange game. It's not a "conflict between "Israel and Palestine", or "Jews and Arabs" The most accurate description would be "Israel's military action to destroy hamas, a brutal baby butcher, rapist, mass murderer criminal organization".
Wording matters A LOT.

There is significant difference between dereliction of duty and actually knowing (i.e. allowing, which the critics are insinuating) an attack. There will be time for accountability after Hamas is wiped out. But I question the motives of those really pushing this story. I suspect it's really about deflecting the blame onto Israel, drawing more dishonest moral equivalence, removing support from Israel, bringing the war to a premature end, and allowing Hamas to survive. Furthermore, had Israel actually known the specifics of the attack, they would have been justified in a preemptive attack. And the same people criticizing it now for it's inaction would be accusing it of committing an unprovoked attack.

You guys seem to not understand how intelligence works. lol There are constant intelligence reports all the time about all kinds of things and some of them end up being real, some end up not happening, and some are purposeful plants as misdirects. Sometimes they screw up and don't engage in a real threat intelligence. This happens to every country, including the US, Britain, etc. It doesn't mean there is some nefarious conspiracy behind it, nor does it change the fact Hamas are terrorists who have said publicly they will repeat October 7th in the future, and who have stated they want to wipe out Israel and all its people, nor does it change the fact they attacked a bunch of civilians. Neither side has its hands clean morally or ethically but this doesn't suddenly make Hamas or Palestinian extremists the good guys either. I know nuance isn't a thing people like to have on the internet though.
