I dunno why but I always find it satisfying to see how the red velvet cake mix turns red when it mixes with the wet ingredients.

Try this Yogurt Marinated Chicken Kabobs recipe- Simple, Tasty & Fun! Serves 6-8
4 lbs, Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast or Thigh
2 cups, Greek yogurt (FAGE brand is the best)
1 bunch, fresh cilantro, chopped
5 cloves, garlic, chopped
1.5 teaspoons, lemon zest (About 2 lemons)
4 tablespoons, lemon juice (2 lemons)
1.5 teaspoons, cayenne
1 teaspoon, turmeric
1.5 tablespoons, kosher salt
1 tablespoon, cumin
Steps-
Trim excess fat from chicken and cut 1 inch thick slices and add to bowl
Add the remaining ingredients into chicken bowl and mix by hand
Marinate chicken overnight (minimum 6 hrs)
Next day- preheat the grill on medium high heat and make sure to brush some olive oil on the grill before placing kabobs
Skewer chicken onto metal sticks (if you use the wooden sticks make sure you soak them for a couple of hours so that the wood doesn’t burn while grilling)
Grill on medium high heat until cooked through (165°F). About 12 minutes on each side.
Serve with hummus and pita bread!
