I was the wimp in my men’s league years ago for using a 75 flex when all the tough guys were using 110’s because “that’s what the pro’s use”. (Like any of them could shoot like the pros) Now everyone is using 75-87’s.

I would think that the quality control on the twigs they get are a lot better than retail. I remember when I was younger, one year I got a fresh stick and it felt so perfect. A great balance between stick handling feel and enough flex for quick hard wristers. I snapped it about 6 or 7 games into the season and I went back to the store to pick up the exact same stick, same curve, same flex but somehow it felt completely different. I could feel the flex in the shaft when stick handling and when taking wristers it just felt so flimsy and the puck would come off very floaty.

I used to use around 110 because I’m more of a battling type, but 90 is better imo

I like to use 110 (I am 187cm and 85kg), anything that is 80 or lower feels like a pool noodle. 95 is meh but still too whippy and 100 is okay.
