AQR’s Asness Calls Stock Market ‘Very Expensive’
“I wouldn’t call the overall market a bubble anymore. I would just say it’s a very expensive market,” AQR Capital Management Managing and Founding Principal Cliff Asness says during an interview with Sonali Basak and Guy Johnson on “Bloomberg Markets.”

Fed is not going to sacrifice economy for their 2% credibility. Still few years away from 6% 5 year inflation expectations.

It's not expensive when we will average 5% inflation for a decade.

A bubble??? This market has no limits on the silliness.
"Higher for longer" is no longer spooking the market. What else is there??? Earnings compression??? Well…. These latest results from NVIDIA clearly show earnings compression has started;
NVIDIA net earnings, EPS, is DOWN well OVER 50% YoY (year over year)…. and yet, the stock rallied !!! If that doesn't give you a very clear signal that there is a massive problem, then nothing will.
Again, (for you thick-skulled Bulls in the back), NVIDIA EPS was DOWN well OVER 50% YoY and the stock is rallying with a forward P/E in the triple digits. This. Is. Crazy.
Their net income will have to MORE than DOUBLE in the next couple years just to get back to last year's levels. (!!!) Even if you believe they will see massive growth rates over the next 24-36 months (during a recession, lol), even if you believe that, there is no way they will double in this time frame.
Retail is begging to get creamed here. (sorry for posting this all over the place, but, retail traders seem like they WANT to hand over all their hard earned money to the hedgies and totally ignore the data. It's really concerning.)
