AI's social media fix:
1. Ensure algorithm data is diverse, representative and balanced.
2. Remove bias, counterfactuals and adversarial learning.
3. Use ethical principles and guidelines that are fair, accountable and transparent.

I do wish America – even Democrats, sadly – weren't glued to the relentless narrative of 'working people', or 'hard-working people'.
There's a huge swathe of the United States' population who are unable to work through no fault of their own.
They may have given service for 20+ years – they are human beings with talents and skills, but are now somehow relegated by politicians (and journalists) to 'non-people'.
This narrative dismisses them entirely – they don't even get a mention, because they are less than nothing. I find it a hideous attitude. 😒

Senator tells NBC News about Musk's opinion about AI… And that is the standard we should follow? Isn't Musk's statements and actions in several fronts enough to make people question if he is a good source for anything?

Instead of dealing with child poverty which is heartbreaking, Republican fascists in Congress pursue whatever their demigod Trump wants.

I agree that child poverty needs to be addressed, but I'm not sure a child tax credit is the way to do it. There's too many blended families in this country. Only the custodial parent will get the tax credit, and the other parent will still be struggling to provide for their child during their time. Especially since the secondary parental unit is likely already paying child support on top of not being able to claim the child for said credit.

Asking tech CEO's how to regulate their industry is idiotic. Self regulation has never worked, neither in government nor in the private sector. If these bigwigs propose anything, you can be sure they have already figured out a workaround. Remember, greed is god. "Anything and everything for a buck" thrives in our society of hyper-capitalism.

Hardship can(doesn't always) breed compassion. Many of these politicians that vote against things like child tax credit, increased minimum wage, better healthcare, etc have never been in a situation or known personally people in situations where things like that can greatly change lives. Even the whole gun debate, many of these politicians against any kind of gun reform will always say "well my children are homeschooled" or are in some kind of elite school.
