Sounds like my mom. Over the years i would buy her a gift and a few years later she would say" I bought you something and it was my gift returned to me. Or she complains shes in pain so i buy her something to treat the pain and she screams thats retarded or a waste of money. Her mother is controlling.

You don't gift someone something and then tell them how they have to use it or threaten to take it back! When you sit there and think it's ok to do something like this you need to be brought back to the ground and be humbled!
