I suggest calling to memory and using brains those who have both. The US created and supported Al-Qaeda, “freedom fighters” who fought soviets in Afghanistan in 1980s. The result was September 11 attack when Al-Qaeda destroyed Twin Tower skyscrapers and 3000 Americans in them. Then the US government supported “freedom fighters” in Chechnya. The result was Boston Marathon bombing. Now Biden administration supports Ukraine’s regime which “fights for freedom and democracy against “Russian aggression”. “Freedom fighters” again? There is nothing to do with democracy in Ukraine. That’s nazi terrorist regime, very much like ISIS. Generations of politicians come and go in Washington DC, but they still have not learned a simple lesson. Terrorists must not be supported regardless how advantageous it looks in regard to your contention with a geopolitical opponent. Those who assumed to be useful idiots are not so stupid and sooner or later Ukrainian terrorists will go after Americans. Why do so many Americans still support that old madman who promotes this reckless policy? A smart man learns from his own mistakes, but a wise one from mistakes of others. I don’t see why Ukrainian officials have to justify any attacks on Russian soldiers or collaborators. It’s the Russians who have initiated this unprovoked attack on a sovereign nation. Indiscriminately killing innocent men, women and children and targeting Ukrainian power/utilities and other infrastructure. The Ukrainians, in my view, should attack Russia with everything they have. And if they kill some innocent Russians in the process or destroy some of Russias infrastructure in addition to any military/logistic targets it would be totally justified. An eye for an eye. And it would get the attention of the Russian people that a real war is happening and maybe they can put pressure on their government (Putin) to make it stop and end the flow of body bags being retuned to Russian mothers and fathers of young soldiers. And if public pressure is not enough, someone close to Putin needs to take him out and end the suffering of millions in Ukraine. And Russia.

I find it very curious and interesting that in the 1960s and 1970s The Vietnam War was televised every night as it was unfolding in everyone's home. They had combat corespondents with the military and you saw actual combat, patrols, entire battle campaigns as they happened unfold in front of your very eyes. In the age of technology today, you would think we would get the same at the very least about any war. In this case, we get snippets and stock footage and are just told stories about what happened. I can understand getting snippets and such if it were the early 1900s during WWI, but this… I find a bit too odd….

Russian forces eliminate more than 470 troops and ammunition depot in Ukraine
In the direction of Krasny Liman, Russian forces eliminated up to 100 Ukrainian fighters, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
In turn, in the Donetsk direction, up to 310 Ukrainian servicemen were eliminated in clashes with Russian troops.
In the direction of Kupyansk, more than 35 fighters and an MT-12 anti-tank gun were eliminated, as well as an ammunition depot in the Kharkov region.

Russian forces also destroyed a tank, two armored vehicles, four cars and a D-20 howitzer belonging to Ukrainian troops.

The Kiev news reports ,DONETSK OBLAST – Just days before heading back to fight in the Battle of Bakhmut, a Ukrainian soldier Volodymyr, 54, said he felt ill-prepared.
"When they drive us to Bakhmut, I already know I'm being sent to death," Volodymyr told the Kyiv Independent during his brief stay in Kramatorsk, a city in Donetsk Oblast some 25 kilometers west of the front line.
Volodymyr, an infantryman from the 93rd Mechanized Brigade, said he struggled to eat after fighting in Bakhmut for months. He looked shaken as he talked.
For two months, Volodymyr's unit was tasked with guarding Bakhmut against small Russian assault groups creeping into the city. The brigade was constantly under mortar fire as soldiers were outdoors where shrapnels could wound or kill them at any moment.
"(The Russians) keep firing at us, but we don't have artillery – so we have nothing to attack them back with," Volodymyr said. "I don't know if I will return or not. We are just getting killed." I have seen hundreds killed , my entire batallion no longer exists.
