This season, Valentino presented a collection full of poise and grace. With short, white collared baby doll dresses, the collection had the potential to nearly head towards a nun-like look, but saved itself with floor length gowns of brightly colored embroidery. Perhaps, what this collection possesses which many others do not, is the ability to allow the pieces to complement the wearer’s face, instead of the wearer’s face complementing the piece. If you are looking for a respectable, ladylike outfit–look no further than this season’s Valentino.
