All due respect to other legends, such as Brady, Manning, Favre and others we have all had the pleasure watching over the years. That being said Brees is #1. Brady had to play more years and I think he came in the league before Brees to beat Brees in the stats. The super bowls Bradys argument but correct me if I'm wrong but it takes the whole team to go to and win a super bowl. Brees presented and carried/carries, himself as a true champion and leader. Who Dat!!

It’s sad cause this should’ve been the year for brees and the Saints but they just couldn’t get past that final hurdle. Still tho I’ll always be a Saints fan regardless of the number of rings we have ⚜️

Crazy Brees game this year against the Bucs will be remembered but Brady bad games came in the 2 games in the regular season vs Brees INTS giving them great field position & TDS ..Brady did that vs GB but TB defense stepped up & now Brady is back in the SB ☹️⚜️🖤

Brees is the most accurate QB in NFL history; however he has had the luxury of always having a multitude of great talent to throw to as well. His only true weakness imo is that he is a pure pocket passer. He can’t elude the rush and make a pass when the pocket collapses. Even Peyton and Brady could handle passing outta the Pocket better than Brees, but that’s prolly partially due to their huge height advantage so better vision down field. Now Aaron Rodgers is almost as accurate as Brees, but is far better at making passes and plays outta the pocket. Some of his best plays have come evading the pass rush. Plus Rodgers hasn’t had the consistent talent around him like Brees has and superior coaching. It’s a great accomplishment none the less, and Brees should be considered a top 10 QB of all time. However some of this new young talent like Mahomes and/or Lamar may end up pushing him outta that spot when they retire.

Brees is the GOAT. They both played roughly the same amount of games (Brees 10 games less) and Brees hold almost every record over Brady. Imagine if Brady played behind 7'3" linemen, had to tiptoe and crane his neck to try and see the field, had to jump up 20 inches after the play starts to get a quarter of a second to scan the entire field to make his
post-snap reads and go through his progressions then had to peek between linemen to get a flashing glances of his receiver running 20 mph, had to jump 20 inches into the air to throw over defenders (talking about not having you feet set) or throwing blindly at a spot on the field that he can't see knowing that's where his receiver is going to be.
Another words, imagine Brady was 6 foot tall (*cough cough*) and Brees was 6'5"
Imagine Bady in a division where the other teams were in 12 playoff games and 4 superbowls… instead of a division where the other teams were in 2 playoff games and no Super Bowls and had 200 less wins as a division (not counting Pats) then the Saints division (not counting Saints)
Brees the undeniable GOAT!!!!
DISCLAIMER: this is all conjecture brady may have won nine Super Bowls if he had been 6 feet tall and Brees may have been a journeyman clipboard holder had he been 6'5" the effect of any correlation between Brady winning 32530 games and the rest of his division winning 2 games apiece was not taken into consideration Brees leading Brady in every almost every category and setting almost every record did not factor in the minor stats in which Brady leads Brees such as wins and Super Bowls
