Multi-band LTE is capable of 300 Mbps and yet no provider offers this they can get lagging customers off the old networks to free up bandwidth for more LTE radios and antennas also you still need a beefier backhaul to truly get mobile users to top speed on LTE much less upgrade to 5G I used to installs LTE cell sits and test them and provides would backhaul them with 100 Mbps or 1000 Mbps do the math it's gonna be hard to max speed over a network with a backhaul that slow!
