When someone states that they believe in the greenhouse effect, but that they don’t believe that the trace amounts of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere could possibly have a significant effect upon the atmospheric temperature, I chuckle — because, it was the even smaller amounts of atmospheric CO2 in Earth’s past that kept the planet from being completely frozen over.

Lets first look at this from incoming light. The Sun, with an effective temperature of approximately 5800 K, is an approximate black body with an emission spectrum peaked in the central, yellow-green part of the visible spectrum. Of that, about 55% of incoming sunlight to Earth is infrared photons. They strike the Earth and are reradiated back out into the atmosphere. The other 45% is white light and of that, about 30% of that is reflected which is what you would see if you were to look at the Earth from outer space. That should leave about 31.5% of the total light being white, to strike the Earth and be reradiated in the Earth's black body 255k infrared range back into the atmosphere. That would mean 55% infrared photons coming in and 86.5% total infrared photons going out. As we increase secondary greenhouse gases, CO2, CH4, O3, N2O, CFCs, and HCFCs, in the atmosphere, we block more incoming infrared photons, slightly cooling off the planet. Being there are more outgoing infrared photons than incoming, we should trap more outgoing infrared photons than reflecting incoming photons. That being said, all things being equal, on the mean, the planet must heat.

Amazing how US multinational oil companies have warped the mind of so many Americans…climate change is real and that's not me saying it, but 97% of climate Scientists i.e scientists who are not paid by companies…it may not be the problem right now, but it's gonna be a huge problem for our descendents, anyway what do we care about them right, we are not gonna be there when climate change really impacts…

"We should not be worried about the frequency of hurricanes; we should be worried about the frequency of intense hurricanes," said Kerry Emanuel, professor of atmospheric science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. "Climate change is causing a greater number of intense storms. The total number of storms has remained constant, but the proportion of high-intensity events has gone steadily upward in most parts of the world. Scientific models and real-world observations both suggest that the frequency of intense storms is going up."

The atmosphere has been heating up, largely due to the burning of fossil fuels like coal and oil, which lead to dramatic increases of greenhouse gases, primarily carbon dioxide. Those greenhouse gases absorb and radiate heat, and are reconfiguring the Earth’s climate.

The world is getting dumber faster than it is getting warmer. Regardless of this being a coming reality or not, people are more preoccupied beating the shit out of each other over the latest cell phone, than preparing for an adverse climate.

Let me help you young people. This earth has moved into unchartered territory, and there are no book that will help you understand except the Bible.
If you phonies want to FEEL smart, stop recycling political bologna and tell the truth, or there will be "blood on your hands". Wishful thinking will not stop the prophecies, they must be fulfilled! If you think things have gone bad, you will be surprised when you get to the future unprepared .) Being dependent on society will be your downfall!

Okay lets stop calling it Global warming and start to call it Global Disaster which is really what it is. (Consumerism and Pollution). As for this years weather I would easily believe its from the volcanoes of 2013. How many went off anyways.
