That's the exact truth, many have been missing, and the Maga Republicans have been twisting it to suit their political agenda.
The core reasons for, and what brought about secularism, was that one brand of Christianity tends to hijack and dominate a state/states, and thereby imposing its brand of prayers/rules at the expense of other denominations.
That's what was going on all over Europe, and America in those days and it will still be the case if you allow religion to replace the constitution today.
People easily forgot that even Christians fought against themselves, and persecuted themselves.
That was the major reason for secularism. I'm a hundred percent believer in the word of God, but I'm also aware that if you make Bible take first over the constitution, the things that happened in those days would repeat itself today, even in a more violent manner than ever!

He is ABSOLUTELY right. Trump wants to solve the pro gun/anti gun constant fighting by removing the United States Constitution and every Amendment Right. He says the only hope for America, is for all to be under his rule and power. He's made no secret he admires dictators and desperately wants to be one. It’s already happening and it started with them taken away most of your rights to what you can vote for and how you can vote and it’s only gonna get worse. The government is doing nothing to stop Trump. It’s like they’re giving him his way if they don’t vote for him, you’re gonna have them indicted, and when I do win, I’m gonna punish all of you most Americans are worried about what’s gonna happen if he don’t win what is going to be the outcome of the loss again
