I swear COVID happened because The Flyers were the favs for The Cup. They had SO much momentum going and were unstoppable. The only reason that they aren't in first is because they lost their last game 2-1 against the Bruins. But The Flyers have one of the best home records, great against the west, the best against their own division, one of the best lines in the NHL, scoring from all lines, the 2 best face-off men in the NHL, and finally have solid goal-tending. And, they did all with their leading scorer at the time having to leave because of cancer (although he's done well with treatment and will keep playing in the future) and a number 2 overall pick, out with a long term injury.
They are seriously scary for once. Couturier, Giroux, Voracek, Provorov, Konecny, Niskanan, Gostisbehere, Hayes, JVR, and Hart in net with Elliot as backup. Great coaching.
It figures. We will see what happens.
