‘Incredibly dishonest’: Report blows the lid off Supreme Court overturning of abortion rights
New reporting from the New York Times offers a behind-the-scenes look at how Supreme Court conservatives orchestrated the overturning of Roe v. Wade with the Dobbs decision. Mark Joseph Stern, senior writer for Slate, talks with Alex Wagner about how the repeated scandals and unscrupulous behavior of conservatives on the Roberts court is compromising the Supreme Court’s credibility and standing with the American public.

The lack of transparency coupled with ethics concerns is a clear issue with the Supreme Court. While they may be the "highest court in the land" they should set the example, but their defiant response to ethics concerns only raises more doubt by the day on their legitimacy.

Of course the Supreme Court will be labeled dishonest by MSNBC, a Democrat controlled news network, when they rule against stupid Democrat cases. The only one dishonest here are these fake news media coddling the Democrats.

the supreme court should not be so small
it should be a pool of 100+ judges that get randomly selected from for each case (5-25 per case idk) and if the few selected for any given case make a bad ruling, it can be overturned by a 60% majority from the entire pool of judges
they should also have term limits, each term is 10 years with a 5 term cap, and it's the PEOPLE who vote on whether they get to continue working as supreme court judges, not congress nor the president (they'll still be in charge of the initial vetting & appointments, but we the people get to decide if they get to keep their job)

Judges, like congress people and presidents, make decisions based on the investments they have in the corporations that fund their campaigns, careers and lifestyles. Intelligence/organized crime, corporate/government partnerships run our world's economies. Politicians don't decide when to go to war any more than they decide when gas prices go up and down. Corporations make the economic decisions while the legislative, judicial and executive branches of government are nothing more that social baby sitters placed in front of corporate news media cameras to tell stories that pacify and pep talk an unsuspecting public.

I alway use to think that the supreme court was a court that was honest and that they truly tried to put forth the best ruling possible. But since they went back on their word and changed the abortion ruling they lost my feelings as to them being an honest government agency. They are losers and they are thieves. They are stealing the honor of our courts.😢

Absolutely we must have the same restrictions we have on other government officials, regarding private gifts, and ought to be stringent about appearance of bias. I once got rejected for jury duty because I knew the defense attorney, knew the arresting officer, worked in the same place as the prime witness, and had waved to the prosecutor. Just because I knew people on both sides, I was deemed unable to be impartial. On that basis, Clarence Thomas ought to be recused from every case, since most of them, lately, are driven by Republican agenda, by the same people who he grovels after, thinking they actually like his apple polishing carcass.

"Citizens United dramatically loosened the restraints on corporate involvement in political campaigns. It also set strict new limits on what's considered "corruption or the appearance of corruption" when it comes to restricting money in politics.
"After Citizens United, statutes on corporate money fell in many other states. But not in Montana. There, the state's high court ruled that a flat ban on corporate political spending was justified, based on Montana's history of extensive, corporate-financed corruption in state government, back in the decades around the turn of the 20th century.
"The U.S. Supreme Court wasn't interested in that history. In an unsigned opinion Monday, it said there can be "no serious doubt" that Citizens United applies in Montana." – JUNE 25, 2012

The same 9 non-elected judges will decide whether or not America should be committed to democracy. Some of them have been bought by big corporations. America as a beacon of democracy is losing its credibility very fast. Corporatocracy is it actual form of government.

Even the Supreme Court justices are not above the law. If they have broken the law, then the DOJ should press charges.
