Schumer is trying to combat all the anger over Biden not shooting this balloon down immediately by insinuating Trump let them fly over also. He says it happened under Trump, but he's lying by omission. They didn't know until after the fact by reviewing material. Schumer makes his lie and quickly keeps talking and moves on just in case the interviewer challenges him, but Stephanopoulos is a Democrat stooge.

This man is a chronic liar! To act like letting the Chinese spy balloon to fly over our airspace is some plus to our security is a complete joke. I was in the military back when sanity and honesty was the norm. We didn’t let anything fly near our bases, ships, etc.
The fact that they are saying it happened under Trump is complete BS. And if Gen. Milley kept this from the sitting president would be Treasonous. It would prove that these agencies are covertly bypassing civilian rule on a regular basis. Now we are supposedly finding out that our airspace is being violated daily? I don’t buy it! Smells like Afghanistan after our troops getting killed, then to change the news, we strike a car load of aid workers! I truly find it impossible that Any Americans support this Admin.
