‘This presidential election is serious’: No Labels floats possible ‘coalition government’
The No Label’s political organization is floating the idea of forming a ‘coalition government’ after the election if no candidate receives the electoral votes needed to win. But the organization claims it’s focused on placing a presidential ticket on the ballot in all 50 states. Former congressmen Conor Lamb and Charlie Dent weigh in.

Respect to Stephanie for pushing back on that no labels a**hole. “We don’t know that no labels is actually going to do that”was the talking point and that some how bc we don’t want some shady dark money MAGA movement we are afraid to have “too much democracy”.

Republicans try to get a lot of decisions handed down to the states to decide. Why not have a push for "states to decide" on whether or not to use the electoral college model.

No Labels will earn the label, the party that helped reinstall Dictator Don. No Labels? No policies more accurately.

The guy on the RIGHT side, is exactly what you would expect from a REPUBLITARD who wants to HIDE who their donors are. Sir, that is exactly the OPPOSITE of what we want. Talking about not listening to their constituents is like the pot calling the kettle black.

No Labels is a right wing authoritarian billionaire backed group associated with the Kochnetwork and the goal is a one party dictatorial nation. If you aren't in the party you can't seek office kind of thing.

WE DO NOT NEED THIRD PARTIES SPLITTING VOTES IN 2024. I have voted for third-party candidates in the past. But 2024 is about GQP fascism vs. democracy. If Donnie seizes power for any reason in any way, we are doomed.
@do9138
December 27, 2023 at 7:35 am
We need an anti-fascist coalition. Fascism according to Merriam-Webster’s is “a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.” The GQP meets every criterion in the definition.

Please, the only way to prosperity is to submit to the loss of control. G*d has, and so you & I must. Channel instability as prosocial rather than suppress into a hungry shadow. Merry Christmas.

America doesn't want a third party. They want politics to look like the super bowl or a boxing title fight all the time so people with no accomplishments of their own can still brag about something . Overall, a people who haven't earned the good leadership we demand.
@Nik110512
December 27, 2023 at 7:35 am
If they were serious, they'd run candidates down ballot.
I'm not an American but it makes sense to me, given your setup, that the only coalition possible is in your congress not in the executive branch.

Centrists are so annoying. The quicker they’re honest with themselves over wanting to compromise with fascism, so that they can keep money in their pocket the more they as a group would accomplish their goals. Instead they’re doing all this no labels bs and essentially lying

What billionaires are funding No Labels? It's a mystery because, No Labels does not disclose its donors' identities. Well that's not very encouraging! Early donors to No Labels include board member Andrew Tisch, co-chairman of Loews Corporation; Ron Shaich, founder of Panera Bread; Dave Morin, a former Facebook executive, and supporters of Michael Bloomberg.[56]

It really is long overdue. We really don't believe in democracy and forum if we can't trust that government will continue to function with more than 2 corrupt AF parties. This segment hasn't moved the needle for this independent. Guilting us independent voters has not and never will work. In fact it's offensive. This said, I'm voting Blue this election because this election is about 1 thing only, are we going to have a democracy at all? Because the duopoly is finally collapsing, my vote will go to the party that isn't threatening democracy and attempting a coup. You see. As a fiercely independent voter I refuse to allow people to peer pressure me into compromising my principles in service of s party I don't fully agree with. America is a country where I can choose from 10 different kinds of Apple at the same store, but only choose from 1 of 2 viable parties. It's no wonder voters don't feel their being heard.

Daily reminder that the Democratic Party and its mouthpieces at MSNBC do not care about democracy. All they care about is gaining and keeping power. When they talk about "protecting our democracy" what they really mean is getting their way. From getting third parties kicked off of ballots to rigging their own primaries, Democrats have demonstrated that their commitment to democracy is utterly hollow.

Biden may never go the fascist road of Trump, but the thing is, he enables fascism by not standing up to it, and not actively countering the fascist playbook. Things like re-balancing SCOTUS, or pushing the FBI and DOJ to hold all those criminals [high and low] to account for their crimes.

This only works in a parliamentary democracy not in a democratic republic. The systems are very different and negotiated power sharing has its problems. 2016 showed though that the DNC nor GOP ran their best candidates and they haven't listened. Biden is the best and his team has delivered across the board.

I'm a progressive and it's obvious what msnbc is doing here because they do the same thing to third party progressive candidates. MSNBC is nothing more than the corporate mouthpiece for the democratic party. MSNBC is far more factual and less insidious than conservative propaganda machines like fox but I'm highly skeptical of them on virtually every topic they cover.

Let’s be clear, No Labels stands for nothing. It’s a party funded by millionaires for millionaires. They won’t campaign on policies because their only goals are tax cuts for the rich and deregulation. They are essentially a Republican Party without the crazies and the religious aspects. That offers nothing that helps the common voter. And they won’t ever reveal who’s on top because doing so hints at their true motivations. Instead, they will continue to parade faceless puppets to speak on their behalf, talking a lot without saying anything.

The average US voter is to preoccupied/lazy to vet their partner, until they're in deep, let alone a candidate. Why do you think child abuse, domestic violence, divorce rates and mental illness are so high?? We need insurance to know these candidates aren't going to sell us to the highest bidder and call it a day. This is how we've gotten to modern slavery. 1% own half of the value of our "legal" tender. Going to work have become an unwise financial choice for so many of us when our time and the fruits of our labor would be better spent selfishly for ourselves and the education and protection of our loved ones.
