Weird NHL Vol. 12: Best of the Conference and Stanley Cup Final
Things got weird between the Vegas Golden Knights and Winnipeg Jets in the Western Conference Final including a tickle from flower and Big Buff seemingly in the middle of all of it. In the Eastern Conference Final between Tampa Bay and Washington we saw ghost high sticks, a hot lap from coach Barry Trotz and Kuznetsov losing his sweater. And if it wasn’t weird enough seeing the expansion Vegas Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Final, the epic series saw water fights, Elvis and astronauts and when it was all said and done, we witnessed perhaps the best Cup and post-Cup celebration of all-time with the Great 8, Alex Ovechkin

It’s kinda funny, I’m a Capitals fan and my dads a Sharks Fan, yet even still, when the Capitals won I think that was the hardest I’d ever heard him cheer, though it was probably for me.

Me too cept I'm a bs fan.. you wanna hear how much of a wimp I am..I grew up with season tickets when bobby orr was in his sophomore season.. I can't sit through a Bobby orr special without fighting emotions..We lived in the same city for a bit…..well even after he retired and I would approach him for a simple autograph for a kid He more then once told me to relax and take a breath. .He is what every hockey player should strive to be….My daughter is like dad what is it about this guy that freaks you out.. I said we will have this conversation when you mature To ask that question should
Be illegal… I liked many other bruins players Phil Esposito, Brad Park Bobby smautz, cheese and non bruins players Bobby hull Bobby clarke daryl Sittler Tony espo Mike bossy but nobody gets me to that emotional point except bobby Orr…. I think I know why… That kid knew the money people payed to go see him. His motto was give them everything you have because this might be the only time they get to see you in there life time… So Bobby put every bit of body , heart and soul into his performances.. When he didn't have any cartridge left in that knee and it pained him just to walk, he still was better then everyone else on the ice.. I just can't fatham somebody giving that much of there body, heart and soul for me and ofcourse the people of boston.. So in the end I believe this is where my unwavering admiration for Robert Gordon Orr comes from..
