Probably a failed drug shipment, FedEx is commonly used to smuggle drugs. Most employees look for suspicious packages by smell or looks. And insted of reporting there findings, they take it upon themselves to confiscate it. When it doesn't arrive as suspect on tracking numbers, some are bold enough to wait for an employee to leave work , and take plan b measures. Must have failed this time I guess.
Isn't this the same state who recently sign a gun law that allow you to carry guns everywhere? Did packing weapons prevent the shootout, or will it make it easier for it to happen?
I live in Kennesaw. My fiance works at Area 41 Customs which is next door to the fire department. They have access to both Cobb Parkway (41) and Old 41 from their building. There are always police cars around on the backside which faces the FedEx facility and McCullom Airport. Both County and City officers patrol that area. The police station is about 3 minutes away downtown on Old 41 on the north side of Chastain. Often times there are ambulances sitting at the gas stations waiting for calls. There is also an ambulance service just after you pass Kennesaw Due West (one intersection north on Cobb Parkway).
This shooting makes no damn sense regardless if the gunman was an employee and had work issues or not…..That just goes to show again how legalizing guns shouldn't be an option… Our country is so screwed up already; why add fuel to the fire? Someone should be asking the Governor what type of kick-backs he receiving by legalizing the right to bare arms "anywhere"….The new gun law is a lot more lenient in GA verses TX, LA or OK. This is one of many tragic events to come…….
The funny thing is the new law hasn't even kicked in yet.
So let's see if "The Shooter" Broke any laws according to Georgia's Gun Laws. He Carried a loaded Gun into FedEX. (Legal) He was in fear of something so he opened fire on what/who made him fearful. (Legal) He walked back out of FedEx with his Gun. (Legal) I don't see why this is News. According to Georgia's Gun Laws? "The Shooter" did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG…

Joe Biden is much better off to order their flags of Stars and Stripes to be lowered half-staff permanently.

If he was a customer his motive would be obvious. I hope the victims recover, quit the job and start working for Amazon.
