In order to get the spiritual look, the models were preparing backstage while their hair was done in a way that it would look soft and raw. In addition, their lips were drawn amazingly in a bright orange color which added to the ethereal feel of the show. Makeup artist, Lucia Pieroni explains that “It’s all about her aura so she’s quite spiritual but then she has this kind of crazy manga mouth almost like a Cartoon drawing mouth.” The degradation of the colors on the runway was beautiful as you could notice the blend from white to color shading to black. With the 60th anniversary of Missoni’s house, the brand’s designer, Angela Missoni says that she wanted to go back to the roots by enhancing the weave of Missoni. A unique way that this was done was by layering certain patterns with Organza in order to get a 3D effect when the model was walking. According to Missoni, “There’s an aspiration that this girl is like a cosmic girl, that’s why she has an aura- she’s coming from the light.”
