Leave it to Globalist Larry Summers to advocate for the U.S. to shovel more taxpayer money into the pockets of the Ukraine. Meanwhile we have a homeless crisis, educational crisis, and drug crisis here at home.

For automotive management, they must be having their analysts running models over business cases of more robots and automation or more outsourcing to Mexico etc. UWA will lose out either way. 🤦♂️

I just returned from China at the beginning of September. And I saw Electric Cars all over the place. Sometime or another we will have to implement Electric vehicles on a grand scale. Especially now with energy costs about to go out of control!

Minimum wage regulation makes recalcitrant inflation even stickier but maximum wage regulation is disinflationary, but the surprising additional advantage of maximum wage regulation is that you are regulating a smaller subset of the population than those regulated when you initiate minimum wage regulation , less overhead

Housing and costs in our country is killing workers. And Oil! This is the primary reason for the labor problems here on the West Coast! That's for sure!

Although many workers pay compensation and themselves should be treated more right and many leaders such a CEO's pay increases went and unfairly faster rate and maybe should be only in the single digits of millions of dollars instead of double digits strikes are not the answer is that can cause long-term harm to the economy and could send some of the jobs away internationally and what's being asked of on their behalf ought to be more realistic

10:35 that is an insult to investors. The investors this putz speaks of isn't the average working class TAX paying investors. No not at all what he is referring to is the institutional investors that operate how they want with impunity WITH COMPLETE CONTROL OVER THOSE THAT ARE EMPLOYED TO PROTECT "INVESTORS" BUT NOT AMERICANS.

Sure, Steve is a friend of the labourers, as he makes clear there (just like Bloomberg in general), but he makes a telling observation that the manufacturing renaissance is a hollow promise by the Biden administration. American manufacturing cannot compete with Asian or even Mexican manufacturing because it is too expensive.

He has no clue as to the legal process and geo-political ramification of his actions. Thanks god he has no real power!
