Only Chinese, South Korean BEVs and Teslas are worth mentioning. CNBC mentioing legacy auto trash is clearly the result of ad revenue.

Making them with LG? In Australia we have just had a massive safety recall on LG ESS batteries as they have been the cause of numerous house fires 🙁

GM cant even build a reliable ICE. Get your EV from Tesla or you'll regret it later, they have it nearly perfected..

All ev companies need to do is make a spear battery when one dies I have a extra battery to replace that way I don’t have wait hours for charging?

With their CTO quitting, it means this Ultium battery is just a pipe dream.

Isn’t that odd. I’ve heard much differently. When I think battery powered vehicles … I think about my DeWalt 20 volt battery circular saw. On. Then dead battery. Fortunately I only have to swap out tho battery and I’m good to go. If I’m between destinations …. I’m screwed or sitting on the edge of a parking lot at night charging my nifty “green” car.

Tesla delivered their first EV when Obama was president. Its clear that GM is reluctantly and belatedly entering the EV market now that EVs dominate in China. ?. One year later, the GM dominance predicted here is entirely eclipsed by startups, while GM ICE US market shows litle decline.

this skateboard type of universal platform was anounced about 12 yrs ago…..

By 2035. Everyone knows that by2028 the ICE vs ev will be over, since EV will acount for more than 50% at the end of 2026. By 2028 more than 90%+ will be electric. Any manufacturer below 65% ev offering will be under bankrupcy.

Ultium platform is a failure. GM anounced maybe a month back theat the 4680 form factor is superior to ultioum, and they will switch to 4680 LFP batteries.

There is no way GM will lead the EV industry. There is only one global leader, and as today sell abot 10X what GM can sell. Also has huge profits on ev's while GM has only loses. Starts with a T, and ends with an A, in the middle there are 3 letter ESL. Simple and accurate.

Wrong. The 2014 Spark EV was GM's first EV after EV1. 9:22

Of course, general motors can mess around electric vehicles they don’t even exist anymore. They went, broke on their ass . But the US government and the American taxpayer said no we don’t want that. Here is billions of dollars for you to stay in business. So they know they can mess around with Electric vehicles because Uncle Sam is got the cash to keep them going and Uncle Sam plans on spending $50 trillion which they will get a lot of. But Ford (the only American car company left in business today) they are not nearly as excited about electric vehicles. They know without billions from the taxpayer electrical vehicles just can’t be made. And they probably know what a crock of 💩 global warming is. Excuse me climate change..

Here we are a year later and they have delivered about 4,000 total ultium vehicles. Vaporware.
