Instead of bailing out businesses and their overpaid CEO's give the money back to the working taxpayers. Then they can spend the money at businesses they think are worthy.
A lot of these businesses are ready to bit the big one, anyway.

They passed a corporate socialism Bill. They do not have the right to choose which companies succeed and which companies fail. Each company should have equal rights to the corporate socialism money. In capitalism companies don’t get billed outBy the government. Corporate socialism for the rich rugged individualism for the poor. Why don’t you start focusing on that.

In the future if social distancing becomes the new normal then what of dept stores , Sports what of television shows with audience all these things will be significantly declined no more Sports scholarships no more talk shows late night or game shows
Sports wont make as much money as it used to …this can be very very bad people the future is being tested right now everything you seen in the movies like SURROGATES (Bruce Willis) where people stay at home but a robot goes out dressed like you and does everything that you used to doesn't seem so far-fetched now does it

it's capitalism when things are going well, and all the profits go to shareholders. But when you need to bail out those, too big to fail companies, with taxpayers money that looks a lot like socialism to me.

The number one thing for these businesses is not taking care of their employees but is making money.

Frankly they deserve it with their 500% plus prices. They have ripped us off for decades. Live off of your price gouging now. Of course, they are begging for government money. None of these so-called Big Businesses SAVED any money. Oh no! Do stock buybacks, give CEO's and other upper management positions raise, after raise, after raise. They could care less about the employees, the only reason they are pretending to now is to get taxpayer handouts.

Why does anyone think "normal" times will soon return, if ever? The Great Reset button cannot be unpushed. Macy's will be a fated relic of a past economic model.

As bad as the coronavirus is to each and everyone. I hope it was a lesson learned for governments, each and every
Right winger and wealthy here in America or any other country across the Globe means anything with out its hardworking Men & Woman. I hope they have seen and learned something from the effect of what I call A GOD organized strike for the hard working Men and Women not only here in America, but across the Globe 🌎. Game over. The era of indirect slavery is over. It’s time to Bow to the working class maybe they will help put you back where you used to be before December, 2020.

I love Macy's …but I think this just might be straw that breaks the camel's back.

Brazil was one of the very few major countries that sailed through the 2008 crisis without hardly a glitch. The "secret" was that president Lula, instead of bailing out the financial sector, offered low-interest state loans to industries only — on condition that they could not fire any workers and could not cut salaries. Thus the general population kept earning money as before, kept buying as before, and industries kept producing as before.
But of course the Republicans and the -corrupt- moderate Democrats would have nothing of the sort, because the billionaires and big corporations that own them want all the government's bailout money to go to them, not to the general public.

Lost jobs. Lost health insurance. Time to reset the employment based US healthcare system.

He keeps repeating how many employees these businesses have….has it ever occurred to him that that concern would be better handled by giving money directly to the American people, rather than corporate executives who are ALWAYS paid record-breaking compensation, no matter how poorly the business is doing? The entire system is intolerably flawed.

"Companies who need them most…" sadly, will translate into #45's own business interests, donors, toadies & fellow cons. Sorry, working America…just find a magical way to feed your families, pay your bills & those oh-so-important taxes.

Better to fail than be indebted to these big companies. They’re not giving food for the pandemic, they’re selling food to the needy. Subsidies built big businesses that can support themselves.

If a company ever avoided paying it's full share of taxes to the country it's in or used the tax cuts to buy back stock should not get a bailout. Full stop.

Liberals should have no input on the economy. They wanted Trumps strong economy to crash all along. You've got what you asked for, enjoy.
