60 Diamonds – The Greatest Picks of the 60 NHL Drafts (#50-41)
In the second part of the 60 Diamonds: The Greatest Picks of the 60 NHL Drafts series, NHL.com Deputy Managing Editor Adam Kimelman, alongside NHL.com staff writers David Satriano and Dan Rosen, reveal the next 10 players ranked #50-#41 on the top 60 NHL Draft picks list and discuss former Nashville Predators goaltender Pekka Rinne and the statue unveiled in his honor at Bridgestone Arena this past March.
Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the first NHL Draft in 1963, NHL.com staff writers and editors are taking part in 60 Diamonds – The Greatest Picks of the 60 NHL Drafts series, which will discuss the most influential draft picks in NHL history. The five-week series will conclude with a half-hour show premiering on NHL Network on Saturday, June 24, at 7 p.m. EST. Produced by NHL Productions, the finale special with host Kathryn Tappen will count down the top 20 picks and reveal the writers’ choice for the number one NHL Draft pick of the past 60 years.

Jesus, why is this 6 different segments. Talk about a boring series. Not to mention – the “diamonds” aren’t first overalls, they’re the Rinne and Datsyuk picks later in the draft. This league stinks. Throw a few more white guys in front of the camera.

If Datsyuk at 171 isn't the greatest pick of all time, I don't wanna talk to you.
