Intrigued by your ideas. They resonate with a transformative book I once read. "AWS Unleashed: Mastering Amazon Web Services for Software Engineers" by Various Authors

outsourcing will beat their costs like most other industries. Their core customers are also many many zombie companies and unsustainable businesses.

AWS still powers a lot of the Internet but Azure and GCP are catching up. Not to mention the China cloud players. Alibaba just cut their prices recently.

Cloud is literally just data storage, it’s not going to improve your business performance lol it just a cost and security play

Cloud is old now. Much more competition now. AWS can't keep same percentage of it. AWS is now the IBM of the space. It needs to look out for the up and coming scrappy "Apple" equivalents. Companies and especially startups are starting to distrust major corporate clouds and their costs compared to buying VPS and other services a la carte and rolling it into something more customized, flexible, lean and of more predictable costs.

That's a broad statement to suggest businesses should not be running their own data centers. Definitely dude is selling something.
