100% they had help from a prison employee. 90% of the contraband in prison is from Guards. They like to say it comes from visits and inmate intake but it’s not true. Around 22% of jail employees are involved in contraband sale. Wether they sneak drugs/etc in or if they just take payments to keep quiet, the guards are who they need to investigate.

You can’t blame anyone for breaking out its human instinct to want to be free. It’s the prisons job to keep them locked up. Pretty sure some country’s don’t press escape charges because it’s normal to want to break free

For anyone who wants to know what it was like, theirs a fictional book called Breakout by Kate Messner. It doesn’t tell it the same, but almost 100% the same. The characters at locations are just different. Everything else is the same.
Not once did the segment even remotely indicate about it maybe an inside job. How did they get power tools how did no one hear them doing it or see them on any security cameras
