This was definitely preventable the leaders are liers and didn’t follow protocol. They failed to act on a confirmed tip about the sighted number hours before. and told marines not to engage.
But it was preventable the soldiers manning the automatic snipers had the suicide bomber in their sights but command didn't know who had the authority to allow the kill shot. No one would make the decision to allow them to pull the trigger. Just more bullshit from the relevant people saying it was not preventable. Utter disgrace to the soldiers

There is no way this attack wasn’t recorded. “Three minutes after the attack” is what has been released, NOT what has been recorded. And yes, this was absolutely preventable.
NOT PREVENTABLE MY ASS! They abandoned Bagram Air Base, the most secure airbase in the world on June 1st and instead decided to use a unsecure public airport!!! WE WILL NOT FORGET OR FORGIVE BIDEN!!!
Obviously this was not the only footage of the blast considering they have video of ISR assets in this fucking news report. They knew what was happening on the ground and the leadership refused to engage the target even after three different entities positively identified him. I hope Lieutenant Colonel Brad Whited and leadership that day up to Brigadier General Farrell Sullivan die knowing those lives are on their shoulders… Pathetic leadership and a waste of human life because of stupid decisions. Rest in Peace Marines. You did your job well.
Kinda ironic that after all the info has come out about this that it was 100% preventable, they knew he was a bomber and identified him prior to it even happening, for some reason they were never given clearance to take him out.
