Several major automakers are making big bets on electric vehicles. A few vehicles have been released so far, but sales indicate any one of them has failed to make a significant dent in Tesla’s share of the EV market. So, who are they? And how much of a chance do they have?

there's several new electric vehicles coming from GM in the next few years Chevrolet Blazer EV Corvette E Ray Cadillac Lyriq V and electric version of the Escalade the Revived version of the Buick Electra will be electric etc. mind you the Escalade has been around nearly as long as the Seville was the Seville Sold 1,000,000 units in 28 years of production the Escalade has sold 650,000 in 25 years of production technically there's 2 styles of the original blazer K5 two door with flexible tailgate and S10 4 Door with flexible tailgate technically SUV's started to get popular in the 90s if it wasn't a jeep and that's also when you started getting US built Luxury SUVs like the Lincoln Navigator/Cadillac Escalade which debuted for 1998

For me it is the price and the maintenance for Tesla, they are cool. However from what k know it seems inconvenient to get your car serviced

It’s really only a matter of time before folks start realizing how many corners Tesla cut making $50k rattle trap cars. Tesla is poorly made junk.

Tesla isn’t luxury or quality. It’s all tech. My Audi EV blows it out of the water

Don't worry Joe Biden is gonna come in and shut Tesla down and give trillions of dollars and subsidies to the other American auto makers. This is what happens when you force an industry to change from gasoline into electricity. The Union is the Democratic Party and they will take the industry by force whether Tesla wants them to have it or not.

I would say Ford. Based on what I saw at the Chicago Auto Show. 2022.

It’s sad to see electric cars becoming the future, I prefer gas powered cars and now soon they will be illegal on the road

This like is like Blu-ray vs HD DVD all over again there can only be one!!
"One EV to rule them all,
    One EV to find them,
One EV to bring them all
and in the darkness bind them."

Yeah they can easily, drivers do not need half the features tesla has. Damn i wan to drive not have the car almost self drive.

Everyone worry about ev cars. But no one cares about dump it will create for used batteries.

I honestly don't think Teslas are that good. Once the EV market gets bigger and more EVs from different brands are on the road, the advantages car makers have over Tesla in NVH and build quality will be very apparent. There's a lot of overkill with Tesla in terms of performance but their biggest asset is their supercharger network. But the cars, while being fun to drive and quick, have an indifferent quality feel to them.

    American hypefactory propaganda.
Small croatian factory already destroyed teslas acceleration record, imagine what will mercedes do to tesla in every other segment now that they care about EV’s

„Who have been making cars a long time“ Thats the thing you cant compare evs and cars. Also when i think electric car i think tesla

  23. @kingofrivia1248

    January 9, 2024 at 10:36 am

Just wait 3 years. Tesla will take the market. As a german i do see s lot of the small bmw electirc cars, but right next to that tesla. My next car will be a tesla i just love it. But i would like my car to last another 20 years😂

I will never buy a car that’s not a Tesla ever again. All other car manufacturers have had nearly a century to do the right thing and transition to renewable energy and they chose profits. I’m not a fan of the cyber truck but I’d spend twice as much as an electric f150 on it because it’s a Tesla and they deserve to win

    On a side note….

Vaccines don't prevent you from getting a virus. If helps that 2% of humans that have a weak immune system from getting sick. Why have you forgotten this? Stop letting the media have you live in fear. This ain't the plaque!

  28. @peppeddu

It's funny how Toyota is totally absent from the EV market.
Everyone knew hybrid vehicles were just a transition to electric-only but Toyota failed to make that transition.
