A wide majority of Americans back sanctions on Russia, aid to Ukraine, according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll. 73 percent say the United States is doing either the right amount or too little to support Ukraine.

American forces will protect and defend assets, personnel and principles if the situation requires it. As of now, it does not – the Ukrainians got this as long as they get the support they need.
