There are millions of opinions about the ET issue. What does an astrophysicist know about what the cosmos contains? About as much as you can see through telescopes for human vision. Many things exist that can’t be seen by most. Surely an astrophysicist should know this and be open minded. How can a scientist be so dismissive about what he has not seen or refuses to seriously consider. I think a Tibetan mink would be better qualified to speculate about the existence of life/consciousness outside of the USA.
