An attorney for John Eastman tells NBC News’ Jonathan Dienst that he is working on a proactive Hail Mary for his client—a memo to both federal and state prosecutors explaining why Eastman committed no crimes.

We already know of written evidence that Eastman imagined being appointed as Attorney General of the USA before he agreed to (in a grossly extra-advisory, extra-consulary, extra-legal way) step up on the stage they built in the ellipse and help little donnie incite violence. But you can't prosecute him for any of that? Fine. I would settle for taking his useless Bar card and sending him to white collar jail for a year. I bet he's worth two cigs a night.

John Eastman needs to be re-educated – in Auschwitz or any one of the 20 000 concentration camps that Hitler operated. Send him to Matthausen and put him to work in the stone quarry there. Make him carry heavy rocks for 12 hours a day. After some years of hard labor John Eastman will appreciate the good life he had before he met Trump. Eastman will also appreciate the good life he can have with Biden as president. There never was a valid reason to try and overthrow the government.
