I’ve always wondered why when they first painted the crease blue they also painted the ice inside of the net blue. Growing up i was always fascinated by it and wanted to have it at the rinks i played at. Just a weird quirk of mine i guess, but can’t find any literature on it

Worst goalies ever they are off balance and look like men’s league tenders

Pittsburgh announcer says "a player can't make a save in the crease–only the goalie" ? Whaaaaat? The rule is a player can't COVER AND FREEZE the puck in the crease–not the goalie.

In the 90s, every other shot against the Rangers in the Playoffs was a Penalty Shot. Good thing Leetch was a great scorer 😂.

It's missing Vanbiesbrouck making the save on Sundin in 1999.

I'm convinced that if Bure scores his chance on Richter, the Canucks take that Cup.

I'll never forget Richter stopping Bure in 94. Easily the most important save of his career.

The one called on Tamer in OT 12:19 was not delay of game, dude made a sick play to stop it from crossing the line and fell into the net! If they scored to win on that it would of been a riot! Lol

Back when they skated straight in and took the shot. None of that stop start nonsense like now. And it only took 30 years to finally see the Miller attempt from '90. 😊

God I miss 90s hockey. All the Russian superstars who arrived, jagr and Mario, gretz was still amazing, can keep going. I miss the old arenas, the music they played in arenas and the game in general. Just my thoughts tho. Was my childhood so that probably why I see it that way. But I truly did think it was more entertaining and you felt the emotional side of the game

14:58 almost loses puck then almost kills the ref.
