A friend is a songwriter and has songs on Spotify in 2023. He gets 1 one hundredth of 1 penny every time his song is played. Jack got 60 hundredths 5 years ago. Same thing on Youtube. In some cases people that used to get paid by Youtube are now being asked to PAY to POST their content. It's like being in a band and going from Club Owners paying you to play the club to you Renting the club and charging a cover charge to make money.

Stratton's use of silence throughout this video was chef's kiss, right? Wasn't that the premise?

this pay per play complaint doesnt' make sense if you don't know how much revenue is generated per play. If Spotty-Fi makes a dollar per play Then paying the artist a sixth of a Penny is misserable, but if onw play generates 5 pennies from Spotty then the rate is arguable.

Jack should have done the interview in his redshirt, white shorts, white tube socks with the red stripes, and sneakers. Is he staying in L.A., the backdrop is Echo Park Lake where I got fishing for fun. If so, please put on a show for us Angelinos.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. James Downey

How can this guy PLAY so fast, but TALK so slow? What a painful interview, and he never really made a clear point. He had a great opportunity here to get a message out, and boffed it by not being prepared. Yeah he was kinda funny…. but I learned more from the CNBC guy than from Jack. Still love Vulf though!!
