TD Bank a Canadian "success"story ? Excuse me ? Those clowns are parked on ~35,000 Mortgage in DEFAULT in their portfolio on Fixed Payment 'accommodations' not even covering the Loans interest and merely adding the principle payment portion onto extending amortizations !
    "Success" story ????
Don't you mean currently the most shorted Bank stock in the world Globally ?
The reason the merger got tanked is because TD is going BROKE and needs to shore up it's Capital reserves ????

Is the yield curve inversion party due to the lending facilities given to banks? Instead of the Banks selling their 10 and 30 year bonds at a loss to meet capital requirements, are they just rolling over into new loans and holding out? I wonder if yields would normalize without those sweetheart deals. Honestly asking.
