http://www.FashionTV.com/videos MILAN – The models are getting ready backstage at the Antonio Marras show during Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012-2013. Franzi Mueller, a model from Germany, says hello to FashionTV and tells us she’s opening the show. “It’s a pleasure to open this show because the clothes are so beautiful,” she says.

Hairstylist Eugene Soleiman says the hair is sprayed with a product called Ocean Spritz from Wella Professionals, which is a beach texture saline spray. “We dried the roots of the hair to create a lightness and kind of volume,” he tells FashionTV.

Makeup Artist Tom Pecheux describes the makeup look as a kind of rectangular, very black, intense eye shadow all around the eyes that’s extended with the edge made a little blurry to bring a sensuality to it. No mascara on the lashes, but there is mascara on the brows to make them darker, thicker, and groomed.

Fashion designer Antonio Marras says this season’s collection is based on art, but more on the female artist than art itself. “This time it’s about the artist herself, above all a woman artist, who travels and collects things here and there and takes things home with her and wears the mementos of her existence,” he tells FashionTV. He is also inspired by Milly, a singer throughout the mid-20th century was very special to Milan. “There isn’t a woman like Milly today,” he says, “Nobody was so open-minded in her time.” There is a mix in her clothes, he says, and the collection has reinterpretations of her trench, flouncy black dresses, and other typical aspects of her wardrobe.
