If the US defaults on its debt payment, this will fall squarely on the shoulders of Kevin McCarthy and the GOP. Will also conclusively prove they are morons who are too inept to have any say in government. Being willing to hurt the world economy so some howler monkeys can do political theater is reprehensible. Get rid of them and put some adults in office.

I took what Trump said to mean , if you don’t want to take any action to fix the problem then maybe you need to see what could happen if you don’t fix the problem. An to say we have done it before without fixing anything is a crazy way to think.

So obviously if you have to keep lifting the debt ceiling then we have a spending problem right? So you can do one of two things you can raise the debt ceiling cleanly an not fix the problem at all so you will have keep lifting it lifting it . Or you lift it to not default but make an effort to fix the problem in some capacity . Look i like to buy things i don’t need because I enjoy it but sometimes i can’t because I have spent to much so I just can’t, i don’t like it but I do it to be able to pay my bills. No American thinks it’s ok to just spend wildly to the point your almost defaulting constantly we get it. So why do the democrats think this is an ok behavior. Yes some Americans will have to make sacrifices but it’s for what’s best for our country. It baffles me that trying to fix a problem an not even doing a good job at it is such a bad idea. They add fluff in bills all the time spending money on dumb stuff so why is it ok for one but not the other when one is trying to fix a devastating problem?

Trump is banned from running a charity in New York because of malfeasance when he ran a charity. He managed to bankrupt casinos where people throw their money at you. He has had other bankruptcies & failed businesses. Countless lawsuits because of ripping people off. Currently under indictment for falsifying business records (34 counts) and this is the clown you're going to listen to about money? He doesn't know anything about other than he got a ridiculous amount from his father that he wasted and was broke until Mark Burnett came along and put him on tv pretending he was a successful businessman. He wasn't it was a tv show people, not real. He knows nothing about the economy, world affairs or much else and this is the guy some think should be president again. His last effort was not successful, look at it realistically not by what he is telling you and you can't help but agree.
