Tim Cook will probably drag this on in EU courts, and the story will keep blowing up big which will in turn anger American tax payers. Honestly I hope he keeps fighting it, it will bring more publicity, and more people will demand that corporations pay their fair share. The EU knows Ireland will crash if they leave the EU, and it will anger it's citizens by refusing a huge tax payment when it's deeply in debt. This is likely game over for corporate tax evaders.
