Well, I am happy to say I have never been corrupt😊As a former federal government employee I was terminated because I exposed corruption and those exposed did not like it. Where I am right now is just waiting for someone in Washington D.C. that believes in God to provide a favorable decision in my case. We have a pretty good idea why Coney-Barrett was nominated. It's possible she may be an excellent SC justice, and stick to both the constitution and the law, and keep her own beliefs separate, as any competent judge should. The question is why the nomination was announced so quickly and the push to get her confirmed is so sudden. Any party convinced of the likelihood of them convincingly winning the White House and Senate majority could easily wait until November, or even February, and busy themselves with campaigning and simply governing the nation and tackling the many serious challenges facing it at the moment. My sense, however, is that the GOP is panicking and trying to get this one in under the wire, while they still can, out of a foreboding sense that Nov. 3 is not going to go their way. Certainly the harm that this president has done to the reputation of the office, the legislative branch, and the nation as a whole, in addition to the party, will take a long time to repair. So the next opportunity to install a SC judge they feel will rule in their favor (and NO SCOTUS is supposed to do that, other than by chance or defense of constitutionally-sound policies) won't come for a long time.
