How to make it to heaven for gossips:
(Explanation): politely speaking ladies, The Lord does not like flattery or “pretending to like someone/ pretending to be someone’s friend just so they’ll tell you their dirty laundry.
(Proverbs 26:24)- “people cover their hatred with pleasant words.”
(Proverbs 26:25)- “They pretend to be kind, but don’t believe them. Their hearts are full of many evils.”
(So for example) the lord doesn’t want us to say, “I’m here for you if you need to talk” , and then after our friends confide in us go out and gossip of their business.
(Proverbs 11:13)- “a gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.
But here is the good news!
The good news is that Gossiping is an extremely petty sin and gossips can still easily Make it to heaven as long as they repent of it!
repenting means to turn from doing what is wrong in order to start doing what is right! Repenting of gossip would mean to stop gossiping and pretending to like others, and keeping your friend’s secrets safe with you! God wants you to be a loyal friend!
The even better news is that whenever you turn your life to God and repent of something, your entire past is excused. Nothing you’ve done in the past counts! (God is very generous, and extremely forgiving!!)
(Acts 3:19)- “Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.”
