"If you take [Dogecoin] as a joke, then how do you take Bitcoin seriously" is a knock against BTC somehow? Great accidental point because Bitcoin is no joke obviously (I guess you think CME is trading Clown Makeup futures or something?). In reality, Doge is a real example of a meme self-perpetuating itself into reality with a strong community and solid technology. Doge's blockchain and development has quite the history, and an origin story and structure personally no less compelling than Bitcoin. It's functionally very similar to Bitcoin except for a few differences that actually make it a more functional currency, and possibly a vehicle of transaction that is synergistic with BTC. Love how Bloomberg, CNBC, et. Al. have Nostradamus Lite on the show every segment yet continue to be disingenuous with their viewers about emerging markets and technology

Where on Earth did they dig up these idiots who keep talking about what a strong economy we supposedly have? Unemployment is up and we're running on the fumes of fiscal stimulus. Our economy is ice cold.
